The
National Weather Service's advanced network of WSR-88D
Next Generation Weather Radars (Nexrad) provide an
unprecedented range of weather products that enable weather
personnel to issue more accurate mesoscale weather forecasts,
statements, advisories, and warnings.

Systems' SKYTAP Nexrad Data Service provides the complete
set of unaltered Nexrad products from each of the WSR-88D
radars comprising the network, in addition to quality controlled
Regional and National Mosaic products.
SKYTAP's
Nexrad products are updated continuously, in real-time
as they are generated by the radars, and can be accessed via
high-speed Internet connection and dial-up modem communications.
The standard service supports Internet connectivity at up
to T1 (1.54Mbit/sec) speed, and dial-up modem connections
at up to 56k-bps.

Graphics Weather Software
(Win-NT or Win-2000) is required to access
the NEXRAD service and display the products on personal
computer systems.
